I am a Bristolian who has lived in Bradford and Leeds for half my lifetime until recently moving to London. I studied Peace Studies at Bradford University before a working life of youth work, community research, facilitation and training in the City. In amongst the successes and failures of cohesion and community relations initiatives, I developed a strong interest in finding better ways to help people discuss deep disagreements – to listen and be heard – and at the same time build cooperation and social change. I have also developed a respect and connection to those in Bradford, Leeds and beyond who share the same interests and with whom I have been able to deliver innovative dialogue processes alongside. I recently completed an MA in Migration and Diaspora Studies at SOAS. I currently teach English as a foreign language. I’m a lifelong Bristol Rovers fan.

Stuff on football, poetry, theatre, TEFL, and music may also arise.
